In the 18th century over Spasskaya Tower unusual hours were determined: their dial rotated round a motionless arrow. Now the electric clock works. The bell beats off time – hour and half-hour blows.
In former times the Hansky yard made grandiose impression. Surrounded with several walls at the different levels, the complex consisted of the monumental three-tent building of the Hansky palace surrounded with numerous pavilions, galleries and economic constructions. There was a Hansky mosque with hansky tombs, and also other stone mosques and mausoleums, stone baths and caravanserais. The Hansky mosque, two ancient white stone mausoleums, stone walls of a citadel, and also wooden houses, towers and craft workshops remained in the territory of the Hansky yard in the form of the archaeological remains.
